Chief Executive Officer &
Guy Vanderhaegen is the CEO, President, and Founder of Origis Energy, one of America’s leading renewable energy and decarbonization solution platforms. Origis deploys a wide range of sustainable solutions for grid and distributed power generation, clean hydrogen and long-term operation of solar, energy storage and clean hydrogen plants across the U.S.
Mr. Vanderhaegen founded Origis in 2008, in the early days of solar adoption in Europe. In 2012, after rapid expansion in the European market, Origis became a U.S. company, positioning it to contribute to the growing renewable energy market in America. He oversees a growing team of clean energy professionals working out of three offices in the U.S. His financial leadership has resulted in project capital investments of over $4 billion. In 2021, Antin Infrastructure Partners, one of the world’s leading infrastructure investment firms, became a majority shareholder in Origis.
Mr. Vanderhaegen serves as a member of the board of directors for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), America’s leading solar and storage trade association.
Prior to starting Origis, Mr. Vanderhaegen was the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member for the publicly traded, Associated Weavers International, which conducted operations in seven countries. In this role he was instrumental in the successful turnaround, delisting and acquisition of the company by a larger industrial group.
For ten years, Mr. Vanderhaegen served progressively larger roles with the Belgium office of Arthur Andersen and later Deloitte. As a partner, he was responsible for the Corporate Finance department, which he co-founded. He became a Certified Public Accountant and provided financial services including mergers and acquisition (M&A) advisory, initial public offering (IPO) and fundraising advisory, due diligence, valuations, corporate recovery and strategic advice.
Mr. Vanderhaegen holds the following educational credentials; A Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Advanced Corporate Finance from INSEAD and an MBA from the University of Warwick – Warwick Business School.

Johan Vanhee has worked to fulfill the Origis Energy mission since its inception in 2008. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer & Chief Procurement Officer, he is at the forefront of utility scale renewable energy adoption. He is responsible for utility and C&I industry business development, assisting large scale energy providers and buyers to transition to renewable energy generation. In this role he has facilitated the development of over 5 GW and a pipeline of 18+ GW of solar, 41 GWh energy storage capacity and a growing number of Tons Per Day in clean hydrogen projects.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Vanhee held the role of Supply Chain Officer for the Beaulieu International Group.
Before joining Beaulieu International Group, Mr. Vanhee was active at the VPK Packaging Group where he held successively larger roles leading to his appointment as Chief Supply Chain Officer and member of the executive committee.
Before joining VPK, Mr. Vanhee was the international enterprise resource planning (ERP) manager at the Amylum-Tate&LyleGroup.
Mr. Vanhee holds holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven University.

Chief Investment Officer
As Chief Investment Officer of Origis Energy, Samir Verstyn applies his extensive financial experience to the company’s global investment activities. To date, his leadership has resulted in over $4 billion raised in different forms of debt and equity.
Mr. Verstyn oversees the structuring of all solar asset and share deals internationally. Working with the company founder, he was responsible for the advent of the firm’s entry into the U.S. solar market. Since joining Origis a year after its inception, Mr. Verstyn has filled successively larger roles in the company’s growth globally.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Verstyn was a financial audit manager with Deloitte, where he was responsible for managing large audit engagements of clients in the renewable energy, construction and manufacturing sectors.
Mr. Verstyn is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). His educational degrees include a Master’s in Applied Economics from Ghent University and a Master’s in Financial Management from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.

Chief Financial Officer
Vikas Anand serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Origis Energy, responsible for enhancing operational capabilities, overseeing financial operations, raising capital and helping shape strategy for the next chapter of growth for Origis.
Anand brings extensive strategic, operational and financial skills to the role, in addition to a nearly decade-long track record in the renewable energy industry. 20 years in successively larger roles with General Electric culminated with leadership in the company’s renewable energy business units. As Chief Executive Officer of GE Renewable Energy – Onshore Wind Americas, he led the business to deliver $7.5B in revenues in 2020, nearly doubling its market share to 53% and restoring GE to the No. 1 position in the highly competitive U.S. market, while improving its profitability and cash-flows. Prior to that, as the Chief Financial Officer of GE Onshore Wind, and as Chief Financial Officer and Investment Committee member of GE Capital’s Energy Financial Services, Anand led the efforts to build financing and project development capabilities to match GE’s renewable technology offerings. Before joining Origis, he served as the Co-founder and Sponsor at GoGreen Investments, which successfully completed a merger with Lifezone Metals, a clean battery metals company, and was an advisor to Brookfield Asset Management and New Mountain Capital in the renewable power sector.
Anand has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of American Clean Power Association (ACPA) and was a founding member of its Diversity & Inclusion Industry Task Force. He was also the executive sponsor of the GE Renewable Energy Junior Officer Leadership Program, a hiring and development program for U.S. military veterans.
His educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School – New York and Chartered Accountancy Certification in India.

Edwin C. Moses
Edwin C. Moses is a highly accomplished renewable energy development and finance professional. To his role as Managing Director Project Development at Origis Energy, he brings a background including two decades of solar, storage and energy system development, having worked in over 13 countries on three continents.
As Managing Director Project Development, he currently manages the company’s project development team and is responsible for bringing Origis Energy projects from inception to successful completion.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Moses served as Executive Director at NextEra Energy Resources, a leading US solar development firm. His investment banking experience includes roles at Marathon Capital and RBC Capital Markets. Renewable energy project finance roles for Mr. Moses include leading renewable project finance at Enron Wind, Clipper Wind and SunEdison and advising the U.S. Department of Energy where he co-led the founding of the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative.
Mr. Moses holds a Masters of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and received his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics, from the University of Maryland. He also studied international business in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Scott Shively is at the forefront of the solar and energy storage industry and brings nearly three gigawatts (GWs) of solar industry project experience to his role as Managing Director EPC for Origis Energy. His depth of planning, design, engineering, procurement, and construction expertise spans over twenty years, across all regions of the US including Guam and the Caribbean.
Before joining Origis, Mr. Shively served in various vice president roles for both NRG Renew and Strata Solar, where he was responsible for the technical development and execution of 100+ site distributed generation portfolios and large scale utility projects ranging from 20 MW to over 250 MW.
Mr. Shively holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University. He is also a registered architect with licensing from the State of Arizona.
In renewables, veterans have an opportunity to continue to serve by helping our country and the world transition to clean energy. This is why I started my second career in renewables and why after 10 years I still feel incredibly fortunate to be in Solar and to be a small part of one of the biggest challenges and subsequent opportunities facing our country, our people, and the world.
Michael Eyman leverages over 25 years of leadership, operations, and business experience in his role as Managing Director Services. Under his leadership, Origis Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Origis, manages a growing portfolio of utility scale and distributed generation solar and storage assets across the United States.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Eyman served as the Vice President of Business Development for MaxGen Energy Services, where he drove significant growth across the distributed generation and utility markets. He also held positions as Director DG O&M and Director of Business Development and Senior Manager for Supply Chain Strategy over 5 years with SunPower.
Before taking solar industry leadership roles, Mr. Eyman had a 21-year career in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator. He served in multiple theaters over 13 deployments and retired at the rank of Commander.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas, a Masters of Science in Military Strategy and Foreign Affairs, from Air University, and a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from Texas A&M University.
Working across the U.S. and in other regions of the world has given me a valuable perspective of both the opportunity and need to accelerate the global transition to clean energy. I’m excited to be an integral part of a strong and growing firm leading the transition by delivering sustainable energy solutions to our customers.
Jamie Edwards is an accomplished executive who brings more than two decades of global infrastructure investment and development expertise to his role asManaging Director Resourcesfor Origis Energy. He is responsible forthe asset management of Origis owned solar and storage projects.
His experience in all phases of investment due diligence and asset development resulted in the successful development, financing, design, construction, and commissioning of over USD $20 Billion of capital projects across the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
Mr. Edwards’ career spans a wide range of traditional and renewable energy asset types including solar, wind, hydro, and thermal generation as well as transmission and distribution, telecommunications, transportation, and water projects and investments for C&I clients, investor-owned, municipal, and state-owned utilities.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Edwards spent two years at an Africa-focused private equity infrastructure investment firm and 22 years at Black & Veatch, where he served in executive leadership roles in corporate finance and energy business.
Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and completed post Bachelor Accounting studies at Arizona State University – W. P. Carey School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Now is a potent time for customers to look at solar and storage interconnected to distribution circuits, bringing the generation closer to the load, avoid overly congested interconnection queues and have a much higher degree of certainty of project execution. I’m excited to expand my impact on the clean energy transition by ensuring robust DG options are available to a wider customer base, and work within their strategic clean energy goals.
Josh Teigiser applies two decades of energy industry expertise in service to Origis Energy customers including 14+ years of energy storage proficiency.
Mr. Teigiser has held progressively larger roles at Origis since he joined the firm in 2017. Now as Managing Director Distributed Power, he leverages his deep clean energy expertise for business development activities to ensure DP solar and energy storage projects are accessible to a wide variety of utility customers.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Teigiser led transmission and substation system hardening efforts at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) as well as greenfield natural gas, solar, wind and energy storage development at Sempra U.S. Gas & Power and Sempra Renewables, and managed major projects for California based, Sempra Energy.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an Executive Management Certificate from Harvard University.
It has been my deep honor to work with Origis since its beginning days in the U.S. I’m proud of the track record we have developed with customers and communities, as we work to ensure all the interests of stakeholders in our clean energy projects are upheld with the highest ethical standards.
Managing Director Legal,
Alfredo Gracian has served the interests of Origis Energy and its customers through his role as General Counsel from the early days of the Company’s contribution to the U.S. renewable energy industry.
As Managing Director Legal, General Counsel, Mr. Gracian has responsibility for all legal matters within the Origis enterprise. Alfredo manages all aspects of the legal department from human resource issues and litigation strategy to project development matters. Further, Alfredo contributes to the Company’s strategic planning, including in connection with ESG standards (such as developing internal compliance programs like the Origis Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and Anti-Corruption Policies and ensuring internal compliance with those policies through related training implementation). Alfredo also advises executive management to identify potential legal risks and develop strategic solutions.
Prior to joining Origis in 2014, Mr. Gracian gained significant multinational experience through his legal leadership roles with Bupa, Avanade (a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft Corp.), Office Depot and GE Energy. Mr. Gracian’s legal experience also includes working for Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, a leading New York law firm.
Alfredo holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico where he graduated first in a class of 792 students with the equivalent of a 4.0 GPA and received the highest honors, which is equivalent to summa cum laude in the United States. He also received the Barreda Medal,the University’s highest distinction granted to a student, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Yale Law School where he was editor of the Yale Journal of International Law and Yale Journal on Regulation. Alfredo also has lectured in an adjunct professor of law role at William & Mary Law School.

Shawn McAdams brings over 25 years of Human Resource leadership to his role as Managing Director Talent and Culture at Origis Energy.
His proven, innovative approach at solving complex business problems in high growth companies continues to serve Origis in a time of excelerated renewable energy industry growth and demand for expertise.
Through his leadership, Origis has developed and implemented talent programs that promote sustainability and resiliency by focusing on the employee experience and emphasizing human connection. He leads a team located in three offices, working coast to coast to ensure the workforce demands of the enterprise are met.
Mr. McAdams is a trusted partner to the company’s executive leadership, taking on progressively larger roles over his tenure with Origis. He applies his passion for team building to culture initiatives and is a leader for the Origis ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) program.
Prior to joining Origis in 2019, he worked with IT and renewable energy companies including carrying multinational responsibilities. His track record includes work with SunPower Corporation, SolarWinds, Bazaarvoice, OpenText and National Instruments.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, TX.
