2008

Company Launch and Initial Operations

Founded by Guy Vanderhaegen and European based start up investors.
Identified and capitalized on emerging market opportunities in Italy and Greece while the majority of the market was focused on Spain and Germany
Began construction on first solar PV system

2009-2011

Rapid European Expansion

Expanded operations to Belgium in 2009 and set up third investment fund
Added a large plant in Slovakia to project portfolio
Initiated development activities in other EU countries
Portfolio: 124 operational solar projects totaling 61 MW

2012-2018

U.S. Market Entry and Growth

Entered the United States in 2012 to capitalize on strong demand for PV plants, forming Miami, FL headquarters
Completed one of the largest solar developments in southeast U.S.
Launched the Origis Energy Philanthropic Initiative, serving communities in which the company’s utility scale projects are located
Announced 595 MWdc module procurement agreement
Portfolio: 139 operational solar and energy storage projects totaling 482 MW with additional development pipeline up to 3 GW

2019-2020

Diversification

Expansion of solar operations and maintenance (O&M) operational expertise into Origis Services, LLC based in Austin, TX
Investment in 10,000 square foot Origis Services state-of-the-art Remote Operations Center (ROC) NERC CIP Compliant facility, housing 70 personnel to support 500 field technicians
Completed sale of an operational 41 MW solar portfolio in Italy and Slovakia
Portfolio: 144 operational solar and energy storage projects totaling 812 MW with additional development pipeline up to 4 GW

2021

U.S. Market Leadership and Expanded Service Lines

Management buyout (MBO) of EU original shareholders
Employee count hits over 100 team members in three offices: Miami, FL, San Diego, CA and Austin, TX
Antin Infrastructure Partners becomes majority shareholder and commits to multi-$B capital injection
Portfolio: 210 operational and contracted solar and energy storage projects totaling more than 3 GW with additional development pipeline over 5 GW

2022-2023

Now A Leading U.S. Renewable Energy and Decarbonization Solution Platform

Nearly 3 GW of solar module supply agreement capacity secured
