DEI and Equal Opportunity Employment

As part of the Origis Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Origis is committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Origis employment recruiting platform supports our diversity goals. We advertise employment openings with a focus on attracting diverse candidates via multiple platforms and memberships.

We can report the percentage of females working on the Origis team for the year ending 2022 at 29% versus 18% in 2021.

Women leaders in the company launched the organization’s first Employee Resource Group, the Women of Origis, in 2022. Gatherings include monthly virtual calls to bring women at all levels of the company together no matter where they are located. We support each other, have fun, launch initiatives to contribute to our communities and get together as often as possible.

Origis is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOC) and does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, sex, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws. Our management team is dedicated to this policy with respect to recruitment, hiring, placement, promotion, transfer, training, compensation, benefits, employee activities and general treatment during employment.

Health & Safety

Origis’ care for employee health and safety (H&S) demonstrates the company’s contribution to SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), which targets healthy lives, wellbeing for all, and universal health coverage. Origis has in place a robust occupational H&S management policy fully compliant with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as a comprehensive H&S training program for all staff members, providing an average of 6.5 hours of health and safety training per employee in 2021. Origis also offers competitive health insurance benefits to its employees.

Origis maintains a robust Health and Safety Policy, the monitoring and implementation of which is by the Origis Director of Health & Safety. The Director of Safety is in charge of reviewing safety policy requirements for EPC contractors and O&M employees.
