MIAMI, Fla., October 30, 2025 – Origis Energy, one of America’s leading renewable energy and decarbonization solution platforms, announced today that it has made a $25,000 philanthropic donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico. The nonprofit is widely recognized for its work in empowering local youth through one-to-one mentorship across New Mexico.

The Origis Energy grant stems from the company’s Escalante Solar project, a 200 MW solar facility completed in June 2024 in McKinley County, New Mexico, for Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association. The donation, which was made on October 8th, reflects Origis Energy’s commitment to making lasting contributions to the communities where its large-scale renewable energy projects are located. The Escalante Solar project serves as a model for how clean energy development can go hand-in-hand with community enrichment, helping to build long-term partnerships and support local impact.

“Origis is proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico as part of our Escalante Solar project,” said John Deese, Senior Director of Business Development at Origis Energy. “Investing in the communities where we operate is core to our mission, and this donation helps empower local youth while building lasting partnerships.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico was selected for its measurable impact and trusted presence in the region. The organization’s mentorship programs help children realize their potential, build confidence, and create brighter futures.
