Jamie Edwards is an accomplished executive who brings more than two decades of global infrastructure investment and development expertise to his role as Managing Director Resources for Origis Energy. He is responsible for the asset management of Origis owned solar and storage projects.
His experience in all phases of investment due diligence and asset development resulted in the successful development, financing, design, construction, and commissioning of over USD $20 Billion of capital projects across the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
Mr. Edwards’ career spans a wide range of traditional and renewable energy asset types including solar, wind, hydro, and thermal generation as well as transmission and distribution, telecommunications, transportation, and water projects and investments for C&I clients, investor-owned, municipal, and state-owned utilities.
Prior to joining Origis, Mr. Edwards spent two years at an Africa-focused private equity infrastructure investment firm and 22 years at Black & Veatch, where he served in executive leadership roles in corporate finance and energy business.
Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and completed post Bachelor Accounting studies at Arizona State University – W. P. Carey School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
