Origis Energy is committed to making contributions in communities where our utility scale solar installations are located. This solar energy philanthropic program was started to serve underprivileged and disadvantaged young talent, minorities and veterans. This $125,000 donation by Origis Energy was a result of the Merrill Project Oregon – OR Solar 5, located in Klamath County, Oregon.

Entities Receiving Financial Assistance

The mission of The Oregon Community Foundation is to improve lives for all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy. OCF works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds — more than 2,000 of them — that support the community causes they care about. These funds support the critical work that nonprofits are doing across Oregon. Through these funds, OCF awarded more than $108 million in grants and scholarships in 2016. Origis Energy donated a one time gift of $125,000 in December 2016 to the organization.
