A 75 MWac project for Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA), in conjunction with 12 Florida municipal electric utilities completed in 2024.
Rice Creek is part of Phase 2 of the Florida Municipal Solar Project, which includes both Rice Creek Solar in Putnam County and Whistling Duck Solar in Levy County. Together, they generate nearly 150 megawatts of solar energy.

Twelve Florida municipal electric utilities will purchase power from Rice Creek.
Rice Creek generates 74.9 MWac, enough electricity to power approximately 14,000 homes.
The project consists of 213,000 solar panels.

Twelve utilities that will receive power from the Rice Creek solar facility include Beaches Energy Services (Jacksonville Beach), Fort Pierce Utilities Authority, Homestead, Keys Energy Services (Key West), Kissimmee Utility Authority, Lake Worth Beach, Mount Dora, New Smyrna Beach Utilities, Newberry, Ocala, Town of Havana and Winter Park. This is the first solar power project for Havana, New Smyrna Beach and Newberry.
